Travel cotThe initial idea of constructing outgrownit.com came to us soon after the birth of our son. We soon found that the cost of equipment, toys and day-to-day items, that average children require is hugely expensive. We also realised that a lot of the items were practically new when our child had outgrown them.

We found ourselves trudging through endless newspapers trying to find nursery equipment or browsing the web to find a good source for used items - to no avail.

Buy and Sell Children's toys, unwanted nursery equipment, clothing and help to protect the environment too!

 

Sure there are generic sales sites, auction sites and newspapers etc, but nothing specifically for children's equipment, clothing and toys. The other problem with other sites is that they aren’t regional. You wouldn’t want to travel from Newcastle to, say Manchester or Birmingham to buy a stairgate, or cot; the cost in fuel would far outweigh any potential saving.
